The Relastin™ Routine For Your Skin

6am: the alarm goes off. You've got to walk the dog, get the kids to school and get to work. You've got one hour. Go!!

Sound familiar? Your anti-aging treatment shouldn't take up any more time than necessary. Relastin is so easy to use—just pick your skin type from the major categories below and see how to incorporate it into your daily routine, easily and effectively.

Normal Skin

You've hit the genetic jackpot—your skin is soft and balanced. Taking special care will prevent the signs of aging.

Normal Skin relastin1. Wash your face with a mild, creamy cleanser. Do not use bar soap, or anything with alcohol in it, as it will dry your skin out. Use warm, never hot, water.
2. Apply Relastin Skin RevitalizerTM to your face and neck day and night. If your skin feels dry in winter, switch to Relastin Ultra Emollient, which is a richer moisturizer.
3. Gently pat Relastin Eye Silk below and above your eyes. It is even gentle enough for that pesky eyelid area, but never rub or smear.
4. Remember to apply sunscreen! If you wear foundation, pick a brand that has an SPF of 15 or above, if not, choose a light,
oil-free sunscreen that won't clog your pores.

Oily or Acne-Prone Skin

The good news? You age at a slower rate than your parched sisters. But watch out for clogged pores and acne!

oily Skin relastin1. Wash with warm water and a gel-like cleanser designed for oily skin. Make sure that it doesn't contain alcohol, as this could make your skin dry and flaky.
2. While skin is still moist, gently pat Relastin Eye Silk below and above your eyes. Eye Silk is even gentle enough for your eyelids and can help prep your skin for makeup. Never rub or smear.
3. Since your skin retains more natural oil than most, Relastin Skin Revitalizer, a light moisturizer, is perfect in both summer and winter. Also, Skin Revitalizer includes a slight exfoliant that can further help to balance your skin.
4. Sunscreen is a must in the daytime. Look for a brand that is
oil-free, which won't add extra moisture to your already hydrated skin.
5. If you have the occasional breakout, follow the steps listed above
for oily skin, but substitute a cleanser specifically designed for
acne-prone skin.

Dry Skin

You've got to be extra-careful about staying hydrated: dehydrated skin contributes to wrinkles and fine lines! Drink lots of water and follow these instructions.

Normal Skin relastin1. A creamy cleanser is what you need. Look for brands that are gentle, non-foaming, rich. Avoid bar soap at all costs!
2. Since your skin is so dehydrated, you'll want to stick with Relastin Ultra Emollient in all but the most humid weather. Apply to face, neck and eye area. In the summer, when your skin isn't in need of as much hydration, switch to Relastin Skin Revitalizer during the day, but continue to use Ultra Emollient at night.
3. If your eyes need an extra boost, gently pat Relastin Eye Silk below and above your eyes, even on the eyelid area. Never rub or smear.
4. Sunscreen up during the day with a light, oil-free sunscreen
or if you use foundation, pick one that has an SPF of 15 or above.

Combination Skin

Your skin's confused! If your T-zone is oily, but you tend toward dehydration everywhere else, you've got combination skin.

Normal Skin relastin1. Stick to a gentle foaming cleanser that has enough umph to remove dirt and excess oil but won't dry you out.
2. While skin is still moist, gently pat Relastin Eye Silk below and above your eyes, including the lid. Never rub or smear.
3. For the most part, you'll want to stick to Relastin Skin Revitalizer, which is light enough for your T-zone. Pay attention to your skin, if it begins to feel dried out in the winter, switch to Ultra Emollient.
4. During the day, make sure you use sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or above. Choose a brand that is light and oil-free.

Sensitive Skin

Redness, blushing, breakouts, and irritation—you don't have it easy! Luckily, all of Relastin's products are formulated to be non-irritating.

Normal Skin relastin1. Almost anything can irritate your skin; so choose a cleanser that is free of perfumes, dyes and other additives.
2. While skin is still moist, gently pat Relastin Eye Silk below and above your eyes, including your eyelid area. Never rub or smear. You don't need to worry about redness—Eye Silk is extremely mild.
3. If your skin tends to be dry, use our Ultra Emollient cream, if it's normal to oily, try our lighter Skin Revitalizer. Neither one will irritate your skin.
4. Choose your sunscreen as wisely as your cleanser, making sure it is free of irritating additives. You might want to try one designed for children as they tend to be very gentle.
